---

The summer walk along the beaches and cliffs of the southern Fleurieu Peninsula offers spectacular rambling. There are several high points where walkers gain a 360 degree panorama of the surrounding areas. The interactive picture below has been taken from Parsons Point, overlooking Parsons and Waitpinga Beach.

Our summer walk includes a walk on the beach and along the estuary wetlands of Waitpinga Creek. Hooded plovers, terns gulls and other waders use the waterway. The beach area is a popular spot for experienced long-board surfers and the surf fishers who seek to lure passing salmon and the famous mulloway game fish onto their lines.

This 'Interactive' Panorama is now loading in the window below. It is a 360 degree pano (184K) ... so it may take up to a minute to appear depending on your modem speed, current line traffic, etc. If you see a broken image, you do not have the QuickTime plug-in and will need to download it first and then come back to this page.
